Marital Agreement
At Brewe Layman we feel strongly that a Prenuptial Agreement is a tool that can help diffuse potential future conflicts over property, due to its ability to clearly delineate ownership issues prior to marriage. Postnuptial Agreements are similar documents executed after marriage. We also prepare Living Together Agreements for unmarried cohabitants and Community Property Agreements for those married couples whose needs can be served by implementing such a document.
When it comes to drawing up a Prenuptial, Postnuptial, Separate Property, Community Property or Living Together Agreements, it's common for the involved parties to let emotions play a larger role than may be warranted. Fortunately, with more than 25 year's experience helping couples work through the sometimes tricky details of an agreement, Kenneth Brewe is able to lend a calming, objective voice to the proceedings.
