In private practice since 1979, Ken is one of the firm’s three partners. Ken focuses his practice on complex domestic matters, cohabitation (meretricious) disputes, injury claims and civil litigation. He also advises clients regularly on business and estate planning matters and frequently drafts/reviews various sorts of marital agreements. Ken also provides private family law mediation services on a regular basis. He has earned an AV rating (very high to preeminent legal ability rating, and very high ethical rating) from Martindale-Hubbell. Since 2001, Ken has been annually selected as a “Super Lawyer” by Washington Law & Politics Magazine. Ken is a frequent speaker at CLE seminars for attorneys in Washington State and author of updates for several chapters of the Washington Practice on family law topics. He is a Fellow in the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers (AAML).
